It's actually amazing that people are still spreading this bull. On the day it was announced it was detailed that both devices didn't need to be on the same network, so I could be on a lunch break at work and use mobile hotspot to play if I wanted.

OK, for the people downvoting, can you at least explain why you are quite happy for the Switch 2 to have similar visuals to a console released 4 years before the original Switch, which is itself a 6 year old console?

He obviously meant the practice was around before what has just happened with MS, Bethesda and Starfield. He didn't word it well but...still not sure how you could possibly think he meant Metacritic number massaging was going on since before 1986??
Thought I had read somewhere that it might be close to Xbox Series X and PS5 in terms of visuals. That it had been shown running that Matrix Unreal 5 demo. If it's closer to Xbox One and PS4 then that's extremely disappointing already.

Yes, because you can really trust aggregate scores that are open to the public and literally anyone can come along and give it a zero and a sterling review, like this one for example:

I'm going for reveal in March, release for Christmas 2024. They will let Mario Wonder have its time in the sun first, probably.
